As part of the PSYCHE branding I designed and created playing cards to use as business cards based on Carl Jung's 12 archetypes that he describes in his model of the psyche. I used these archetypes to replace the existing picture cards and put them in groups of the four suits. This then was further used in the branding design to title the four different outfit collections in the Shadow and Ego side which are again shown in the model. I wanted the packaging to be like a matchbox to add to that play with light and dark and I also wanted the cards to be designed so there is no upside down so in the end I went for a cohesive design with the titles on the top and bottom, shown below.
